How can you help?

There are many ways you can help the Wirral Scout & Guide Christmas Post, from volunteering to help sell stamps in your shop to delivering cards across the Wirral. This page has been created to help volunteers offer their support.

Host a postbox/sell stamps

If you own/manage a shop, library, chemist or other suitable high street location and would be willing to host a postbox and sell stamps on our behalf we would love to hear from you, please complete our contact us form for more details.

Help to sort cards

Each year we sort over 500,000 Christmas cards by hand in locations across the Wirral. In most cases our volunteer #WirralPosties have a connection to Scouting or Guiding, but this isn't important. If you're available to give up some of your time either during an afternoon or an evening in early December we'd love to hear from you. The only requirement is that you're available to give some time and live near to one of our sorting offices. To offer your help please click here and complete our contact us form.

Help to deliver cards

Once the cards are sorted the most important stage begins - delivery! If you feel you could give up some time to help deliver cards over the two weekends prior to Christmas your local Scout/guide group would love to hear from you. Most volunteers only deliver to one or two roads each year so it's not a huge undertaking. Please use our contact us form if you're interested in volunteering.

Buy a pin Badge

This year we're launching a new Pin Badge that you can buy to show your support for the Wirral Scout & Guide Christmas Post. All money raised will go to into the Scheme and will be distributed out to our participating Scout & Guide Groups as well as our nominated charities each year. Full details will be available soon.
